In the organizer's words:

What does the term "dignity" trigger in you? What does freedom feel like? And can the Basic Law move you? Laws and feelings - what sounds like a contradiction has an important connection: emotions drive actions, influence judgments and can promote democratic participation. In this workshop, you will therefore explore personal and emotional approaches to fundamental rights.

Creating an emotional approach to fundamental rights makes sense because the way in which people experience them shapes how they are evaluated and defended.

Through discussions and short improvisations, the texts of the Basic Law become tangible - beyond rational vocabulary. With the help of concrete methods and with room for exchange and your own perspectives, you will experience how fundamental rights can be communicated in a lively and practical way. You will gain the necessary know-how to develop and implement your own teaching units or projects on the topic of the Basic Law.
