In the organizer's words:

For his bachelor's thesis at the HfK Bremen, Kjell Reimers investigated the use of over 100 bunkers in Bremen; his work is one of 16 items in the exhibition "ID Select. Frese Design Prize 2026" at the Wilhelm Wagenfeld Haus. As part of the exhibition's supporting program, Kjell Reimers is offering guided tours of four bunkers in the eastern suburbs: Historically relevant buildings that are used in a variety of ways today. He provides background information on the history and current use of the bunkers from the Second World War and, together with the participants, questions what can be done with the concrete blocks in view of their historical significance.

The walk is around 3 km long and takes about 2 hours.
