At our G Sessions, musicians from a wide variety of scenes come together. What connects them? Complete openness. No genre boundaries—just a 360° setup that brings musical diversity right into the heart of the crowd and fosters a sense of connection. Hosted by the G Sessions house band OUTERNATIONALS, every evening thrives on spontaneity, a spirit of experimentation, and special guests.

Peter Somuah brings a sound all his own to the trumpet. Self-taught through intensive listening to greats like Miles Davis and Roy Hargrove, he has developed a warm, melancholic tone shaped by the rhythms of his West African heritage. His compositions blend jazz, funk, soul, and traditional Ghanaian music, complemented by subtle electronic elements. He received the Edison Jazz Award for his debut album “Outer Space” (2022). With his latest album, “Walking Distance” (2025), Somuah once again bridges cultures and expands jazz into a global language that interweaves post-bop, Ghanaian highlife, Latin grooves, funk, blues, and Arabic influences, making audible the connections that bind us all together.

Skyline Sun, originally from Australia and now based in Berlin, brings contemporary nu-jazz to the stage: groove-oriented, genre-spanning, and shaped by influences from hip-hop, R&B, and neo-soul. Behind the project is producer and multi-instrumentalist Jarrah Dhyan, who blends traditional jazz elements with electronic and experimental sounds. In doing so, he creates a contemporary approach to jazz that brings together improvisational openness and modern sonic aesthetics, lending the genre a new sensibility.

Outta Line is the collaborative project of DJ and producer Allynx and songwriter and bandleader Maura Singer. Both are deeply rooted in the Berlin music scene and bring their diverse musical backgrounds together: Maura draws inspiration from jazz, neo-soul, and hip-hop, while Allynx is driven by her passion for broken beat and diverse rhythms and sound textures. Their collaboration blends organic instrumentation with electronic and experimental sounds. The project is a dialogue between different musical worlds and aims to get people moving while also opening up space for darker, ritualistic, and mystical soundscapes. Ahead of the release of their debut EP this fall, they’ll be presenting new material that uniquely blends live instrumentation with electronic sounds.
