Description: Gaga - a revolutionary movement language that Ohad Naharin has developed over many years in parallel to his work as a world-famous choreographer. Gaga classes unleash a comprehensive activation of the body and physical sensations. They create a space to discover and strengthen the body and improve flexibility, endurance, agility and skills such as coordination and efficiency, while stimulating the senses and imagination. Through multi-layered tasks, neglected areas of the body are reactivated, awareness of habits is raised and the efficiency of movements is improved. Participants are encouraged to feel the joy of dance more strongly in moments of exertion.

The Gaga/people course is open to people aged 16 and over, regardless of their background in dance or movement. No previous dance experience is required. Participants should wear comfortable clothing and be prepared to dance barefoot or in socks.

Smadar Goshen is a choreographer, dancer, certified Gaga teacher, Gyrotonic and Gyrokinesis instructor. She completed her bachelor's degree in dance and her master's degree in choreography at the Jerusalem Academy for Music and Dance. Since 2011, her work has been performed on various platforms worldwide. In the yearbook of the magazine tanz 2023, Smadar was honored as one of the 10 promising pioneers for dance in Germany. She currently represents the dance department of Theater Freiburg as a choreographer in the Réseau GRAND LUXE network. From 2024 - 2026 she will be supported by the state capital Stuttgart and the Landesverband Freie Tanz- und Theaterschaffende Baden-Württemberg.
