The singer from Berlin and the singer from Thuringia have been close friends for many years, so it's no surprise that they keep meeting up musically. The joint song "Zwei blinde Passagiere" is probably the crowning glory of the new Zöllner album "Portugal". The two celebrate their platonic love not without coquetry, as Steffi's partner Tobias Hillig is also a close friend and colleague of Dirk Zöllner.
In 2017, Dirk and Steffi celebrated a respectable hit with "Zwei Sonnen". A hymn to love, which is so well received by the public that it is used again and again at weddings and occasionally even on the radio. Miracles do happen and: Never change a winning team! Both duets released so far were written by Werner Karma, the legendary wordsmith of SILLY's early works. The first joint concerts took place at the end of 2023. With Tobias Hillig on guitar and Zöllner's long-time partner André Gensicke on keyboards.
