Gefährdet leben heute Sichtbar. Queer. Angefeindet. Persönliche Erfahrungen, Austausch und Strategien gegen Hass

In the organizer's words:

Living in Danger Today

Visible. Queer. Targeted.

Personal Experiences, Dialogue, and Strategies Against Hate

The exhibition“Living in Danger: Queer People 1933–1945”tells the story of the persecution of queer people under National Socialism.

Today is not then. And yet, right-wing forces are growing stronger, anti-queer sentiment is becoming more vocal, and many things are once again considered acceptable to say.

As a queer pastor and influencer, I personally experience hate on a regular basis. We atthe Queer Church of Colognealso face hostility and attempts to silence us.

On this evening, we’ll share our experiences, engage in conversation with one another, and gather strategies that inspire courage and provide strength.

How do we protect ourselves? What helps combat hate? And how do we remain visible?
