"Don't go!" - this sentence is probably as deeply buried in many people's memories as the associated Monopoly game in the cupboard. The unmistakable request on the action card serves as a punishment: Go to prison. Go straight there. It is also common practice in our constitutional state. Deserved punishment or just bad luck in life?

"Don't go to prison!" invites you to engage creatively and playfully with the topics of punishment and prison. Based on the thoughts and experiences of the participants in the theater project, a collage of stories and performances is created. The audience not only watches, but can also become active in this theater game. What new images emerge from the exchange? Can we overcome mental barriers and stubborn prejudices?

The audience is on stage during the event and is encouraged to actively participate.

All public areas of the Schwankhalle are at ground level and accessible without steps.

There are three different toilets: a barrier-free toilet that can also be used by wheelchair users, a toilet with three toilet cubicles and a toilet with urinals and a toilet cubicle.

The public area is seated and wheelchair spaces are available.
You can specify individual requirements such as specific seats or early boarding when booking your ticket.
