Geisterzug-Demo: Jeisterzoch en Kölle

  Josefine-Clouth-Straße - Seekabelstraße - Niehler Straße - Gneisenaustraße - Bülowstraße - Blücherstraße - Schillstraße - Simon-Meister-Straße - Turmstraße - Wilhelmstraße - Merheimer Straße - Hartwichstraße - Lämmerstraße - Hornstraße (where the parade ends and ends)

Anyone can take part in the ghost parade spontaneously and without prior registration - provided they appear as a ghost, shadowy creature or other dark figure. The parade has its own theme every year, which is often characterized by current political issues. This session, the leitmotif is: "Allerhühste Zick för en andere Wunnungspolitik - mer könn nit all em Dom schlofe!", i.e.: "High time for a different housing policy - we can't all spend the night in the cathedral!"

For 34 years, the ghost parade has been held under mottos that relate to current political and social issues. This year, the "POLITICAL SPIRIT" is once again in the foreground, which is why the procession will once again take place as a demonstration one week before the street carnival. Ever since the big peace demo on Rose Monday 2022, we know that the political Jecken in Kölle can be relied upon.
