What does loneliness mean? A quiet room, a full space - and yet the feeling of not belonging. A moment without an echo. And when does loneliness become togetherness? What does it take to turn distance into closeness?
GEMeinsam is a polyphonic sound-body project by OpusEinhundert that brings together people of different generations and life realities. Over 100 participants embark on an artistic journey of movement, voice, music and personal stories.
The focus is on encounters: between young and old, strangers and the familiar. A choir grows from individual voices, a common rhythm from isolated movements. Loneliness becomes visible - and can be transformed.
GEMeinsam is not a finished image of community, but a process. A search. And perhaps a beginning.
GEMeinsam will give two guest performances at the cooperation partner Bremer Philharmoniker in Halle 1 in the Tabakquartier.
