In simple terms: Girls In Airports is a jazz band. They play drums, percussion, keyboard, bass, and saxophone.

With their Cirkular Tour 2027, Girls in Airports are returning to their roots—while also opening a new chapter. In February 2027, their new, self-titled EP will be released: the first release since 2023 that has been created entirely from the band’s own creative energy. After exciting collaborations with other artists, the focus is now back on what matters most: the band’s unique musical language and the intuitive interplay among the four musicians.

Since 2010, Girls in Airports has been one of the most distinctive voices bridging jazz and indie in Europe. With ten albums and countless concerts in Europe and Asia, they have built a loyal international fan base. Their sound knows no bounds: melodic and atmospheric, yet raw and full of a spirit of discovery. Saxophone, keys, percussion, and drums blend into a pulsating whole, in which rhythm not only accompanies but shapes and drives the music forward.

Live, this translates into an intense experience.

A fluid interplay of driving beats and open soundscapes—sometimes ethereal, sometimes powerful and physical. Every moment emerges in the here and now, carried by presence, energy, and a palpable closeness between the band and the audience.
