In the organizer's words:

What actually happens to the beautiful glass bottles that are left over after a special evening? Many end up in the bin, even though they still have an amazing amount of potential. This is exactly where this creative upcycling workshop comes in.

Here you will learn step by step how to turn simple glass bottles into stylish living and decorative objects: elegant vases, atmospheric lanterns, candle holders, small planters or individual storage jars. Each bottle is given a second history instead of a quick end in the waste glass.

In the workshop, we work with a glass bottle cutter and an easy-to-implement method with which bottles can be cut in half safely and cleanly, even without expensive professional equipment.

After cutting, the edges are carefully sanded so that the finished pieces are smooth, safe and comfortable to hold. This often results in very different ideas:

simple flower vases made from wine bottles 🌿
atmospheric tea lights made from colorful glass 🕯️
Herb pots for the kitchen or balcony 🌱
Small bowls for jewelry or found objects
Decorative jars for pens, dried flowers or fairy lights
