The two artists Martin Fengel and Martin Wöhrl share a preference for the beauty in supposedly simple things. As a photographer and sculptor, they explore the world of model railroads. In the GRAND CENTRAL exhibition, they have created an expansive sculpture in the Rathausgalerie that is constantly in motion.
"The most important thing about model railroads is that they are never finished" is an old saying among model builders. Everyone can take part in the open studio: building new routes, laying extended track and developing new routes.
