GLORIA DE OLIVEIRA

The music of Berlin-based Gloria de Oliveira is a delicate blend of ethereal wave, dark ambient and dream pop. Her beguiling sound spectrum is further enhanced by her atmospherically dense, self-produced music videos and visuals.

Her new album "Oceans of Time", a collaboration with longtime David Lynch collaborator and sound designer Dean Hurley, was recently released on Sacred Bones (NYC). In March '23, she was invited to SxSW as an official artist and performed at the coveted Levitation Showcase at Hotel Vegas, among others. Other recent live highlights include her performance at the Synaesthesia Festival in Berlin in November '22 (with Slowdive, Tricky, Tess Parks, Tempers and Sonic Boom as headliners) as well as her upcoming appearances at PopKultur Berlin, Sweden's Way Out West, Amsterdam's Paradiso and an extensive tour of selected European cities.

The German-Brazilian multidisciplinary artist's debut "Fascination" was released in 2020 via Reptile Music/Cargo Records on vinyl and CD, including remixes by Gudrun Gut, Tellavision, Box And The Twins and others. It is the follow-up to her 2019 EPs "La Rose de Fer" and "Lèvres de Sang" (named after the classic vampire film Jean Rollins), which were released on limited edition cassette in 2019 via her own imprint La Double Vie and cult cassette label Dispersion.

In 2021, she composed the music for Peter Thiers' play "Paradiesische Bauten", which premiered at Hamburg's Thalia Theater, followed by a performance at the Bora Aksu Autumn/Winter '23 catwalk show at London Fashion Week.
