Gottlosenstammtisch des Bundes für Geistesfreiheit München
In the organizer's words:
Every fourth Thursday of the month, the"Gottlosenstammtisch" takes place at the Leib & Seele restaurant, Oettingenstrasse 36, 80538 Munich, "Paradiesstraße" stop, https://www.restaurant-leibundseele.de. Everyone is warmly invited.
For 25 years, the “Gottlosenstammtisch” organized by the Munich Association for Freedom of Thought (bfg München) has been a fixture in the secular scene and is certainly one of the most unusual regular get-togethers in the city. There, non-religious people, agnostics, atheists, and humanists from Munich and the surrounding area can come together to discuss current events, life, the universe, and everything else. You’ll also hear the latest news from bfg Munich and other organizations in the secular scene.
Many attendees have been loyal to the get-together for many years, while others drop by only occasionally. Some of the guests have left a religious community and, rather than a formal commitment to an organization, are looking for a relaxed, informal way to connect with others who share similar views. Some want to discuss plans and ideas on how to raise greater awareness in society of non-religious people and secular goals. Others simply enjoy the evening in friendly company and plan their next outing.
The Gottlosenstammtisch takes place regularly on the fourth (not the last!) Thursday of every month starting at 7:30 p.m. at the Leib & Seele restaurant, Oettingenstrasse 36, 80538 Munich, “Paradiesstraße” stop, https://www.restaurant-leibundseele.de. Registration is not required, nor is membership in bfg Munich expected; the get-together is open to everyone.
