30 years of Joint Venture - hits, rarities and many many stories
When Götz Widmann and Kleinti Simon founded Joint Venture in the fall of 1993 in a roaring night, no one imagined that it would develop into one of the most influential German-language singer-songwriter projects ever. Today, 30 years later, songs like Hank, Eduard der Haschischhund or Holland are absolute classics. Unlike the generation of songwriters before them, Joint Venture clearly preferred to raise the middle finger rather than the index finger, thus breathing fresh life into an aging genre. With their fun-loving lyrics, which did not stop at any taboo, they made many friends, but also caused some horror, especially in the Christian-conservative camp. Götz Widmann, who has been touring solo since the completely unexpected death of Kleinti Simon in June 2000, now invites all Joint Venture fans to celebrate his birthday with a very special program. As always without a fixed setlist, but with lots of old songs and stories, spontaneous song requests very welcome. Bright evenings with XXL encores are pre-programmed.
