A whole night of Latin American rhythms on all floors of the Muffatwerk. It starts in the Ampere with Kumbia Boruka from Monterrey, the heart of Mexican cumbia. Bandleader Hernan Cortés also grew up there and learned to play from Mexican accordion legend Celso Piña, while he himself was a percussionist in Piña's band. With his own formation, Cortés mixes classic cumbia with reggae, dub, African music and rock, combining electric guitar with accordion and exciting brass sounds. Afterwards, there will be a huge party with the who's who of the local Latin scene until the early hours of the morning.
