Greentea Peng is a London-based musician and songwriter whose work combines elements of neo soul, psychedelic soul, alternative R&B and hip-hop.

Her music is created from a personal, often introspective perspective and is characterized by an offensive approach to genre boundaries, with deep, smoky vocals, organic grooves and a clear sonic signature that draws on influences from soul traditions as well as contemporary electronic and rhythmic approaches. The pieces move between meditative moments and direct physicality and develop their effect through atmosphere and texture.

Live, Greentea Peng translates this approach into a format that relies heavily on presence and mood. The songs are not reproduced, but continued - carried by rhythm, voice and an intense connection to the space. The concerts thrive on dynamics, repetition and a noticeable openness in the musical process.
