Großer Faschingsumzug

Around 100,000 spectators are expected to attend the largest carnival parade. Guggenmusik musicians, marching bands, carnival guilds and guards from all over the country come together to transform Stuttgart's city center into a colorful party zone.

The parade starts at 2 pm. The parade with the city prince and princess Melanie I and Hannes I zu Stutengarten moves from Tübinger Straße via Marktplatz to Schlossplatz. The carnival party with Antenne 1 will then take place on Karlsplatz

Visitors to the city center are urged to follow the parking guidance system or travel by public transport. The well-developed public transport network in Stuttgart and the region offers a pleasant and convenient alternative to driving.

The parade route will be closed to vehicle traffic from 1 pm to around 5 pm.
