Well, in spring 2024, the ceiling lights will probably be shaking again and the hall floors will be lowered when GROSSSTADTGEFLÜSTER rumble across the country with a new album in their suitcase. The Berlin trio, whose rave-punk pop anthems and evergreen gourmet hits such as "Fickt-Euch-Allee" or "Feierabend", "Diadem" or "Ich muss garnix" are part of the permanent interior of every well-kept house party, are going on tour for their new album "Das Über-Icke", which is expected to shred all conventions once again and then happily overshoot every target. "Das Über-Icke" will not be released until the beginning of 2024, but has just had its first brilliant sign of life in the form of the brazen single "Icke!". And because the nonchalant Berlin snout and frontwoman Jen Bender loves nothing more than bellowing punchlines together with her audience, the band with Raphael Schalz on keys and Chriz Falk on drums will be busy releasing food in the form of tracks over the next few months so that their beloved audience is sure of the lyrics when the sweat is dripping from the ceiling between smirking head nods and pogoing mosh pits. There's no doubt that GROSSSTADTGEFLÜSTER are at their well-deserved peak after 20 years of band history, and after well over 100 million streams on Spotify alone, 50 million on YouTube and features with artists such as "Danger Dan", "Mine" and "Fatoni", the lights are neon green for the next slide.
