One year after the release of "Why Do You Hate Me with your Love?", NILO CROW presents itself with a new drummer and a breath of fresh air. Initially just a single line, the words run like a red thread through the entire album, more accusation than question. Ten songs were written in a time full of darkness, unpredictability and blows of fate. Four lost years - and yet at the end there is still a spark of hope, a light at the end of the tunnel. Even if only out of spite. Grunge's not dead.

Spynes was born in Munich, Germany, from a variety of experiences, places and influences. In December 2023, this manifests itself in a mixture of grunge, rock and alternative - and a sound that is both intimate and intense.
Roxanna (vocals), Josch (guitar), Pedro (bass) and Sassan (drums) form this constellation, for whom music is a central pillar of life.
