Gruppenausstellung + Vernissage 2026 // Zittern & Zorn - Keine Angst vor der Angst

In the organizer's words:

In a present that is increasingly characterized by crises and uncertainty, one feeling is becoming more and more central: fear. It is not only an individual feeling, but also a social phenomenon with a political and public impact.

The GEH8 annual theme is dedicated to this ambivalence and understands fear as a contradictory force between paralysis and activation. "Trembling & Anger" describes the tension between inner trembling and outer rebellion.

The year 2026 focuses on the outward expression of fear: protest, resistance and public uproar. The group exhibition brings together artistic positions that deal with these dynamics and open up different perspectives on collective states of tension.

The indoor exhibition is complemented by an extension in the outdoor space: flag artworks in public spaces visibly convey the theme to the outside world.
