PICK OF THE DAY
You cannot miss this event.
In the organizer's words:
Günter Schlienz
"Minimal electronic music on modular synthesizers, acoustic sculptures for home use. Functional music for connoisseurs, free and devout. First I send out my music; later we’ll expand into a more beautiful world." (Günter Schlienz)
"For over a decade, Günter Schlienz has been creating meditative works of epic scope with an intimate, reflective resonance. His distinctive style stems from a love of experimentation that manifests not only in his compositions but is also evident in the development of his own modular synthesizers and other electronic instruments.
The “cosmic touch” is always present, yet pastoral scenes are never far away. Ultimately, his music is equally shaped by joy, melancholy, nature, and space .” (Daniel Voigt, Sicsic Records)

Buck Moon
An ethereal drone duo consisting of Julius Ménard (who runs Grisaille
Tapes) and Julian Flemming (who runs the Econore label). Buck Moon
draws inspiration from the turn-of-the-century free
psychedelic scene and the ethereal sounds of Natural Snow
Buildings and Twinsistermoon. The sounds they extract from their
instrumentation—singing bowls, bowed guitars, ethereal vocals,
and reversed guitar loops—are like field recordings of the mind—
abstract, yet deeply relatable; they evoke a sort of universal
memory, a strong presence of things that are absent. Expect a sweet
escape, a moment of reflection, a nostalgic daydream, or all
of these rolled into one.
