Half a Room Cold

Exciting guitar sounds meet lyrics with attitude, creating a vibrant, driving atmosphere with punk-inspired, sometimes funk-tinged rhythms and melodic riffs. In 2025, the three Hamburg-based musicians came together under the new name “Halbes Zimmer Kalt” and released their first EP, “Modus Hier,” in early ’26.

And the name? It might come from the fact that
PHILIPP can’t hit any notes after 19 minutes,
ALEX still doesn’t realize after 19 minutes that the guitar amp sounds terrible,
KEVO has already shredded two drumheads after 19 minutes in the band, and
NOÉMIE already knew all the basslines after 19 minutes.
