Halocene announce Germany concerts

The US band, also celebrated for their legendary metal covers, will play two summer shows in Bochum and Munich

In recent years in particular, Halocene have built up a rapidly growing and extremely loyal fan base with their mix of their own alternative metal anthems and ultra-powerful metal cover versions, for which they draw on every conceivable corner of pop history. In addition to almost one million YouTube subscribers and almost two million TikTok followers, their fans have long included blink-182 and Fall Out Boy. Above all, however, Halocene are known for transforming every one of their concerts into a wild, genre-busting metal party - not least thanks to the aforementioned cover songs and their sing-along potential. After acclaimed shows in recent years, they will be returning to Germany in summer 2024 for two exclusive gigs. Really loud summer nights are pre-programmed this time in Bochum and Munich.

"A good 20 million streams based on our own songs... - in other words: yes, of course we're a cover band," reads Halocene's Insta bio, formulated with a wink. But in fact, their name has long stood for both: massive metal covers of a wide variety of hits from all conceivable genres, as well as a constant stream of new songs of their own with equally impressive ranges - and almost even more metal and metalcore emphasis. Following the release of their fourth studio album "Maleficent " in 2023, the band from Phoenix have been presenting their first new songs, such as "Glory Days", since the beginning of the year, which they will also be performing live for the first time at their upcoming German shows.

Formed in 2008, the US band led by husband and wife team Addie Nicole (vocals) and Bradley Amick (vocals, guitar, production) flanked their debut album "Can You Hear Us Now?" (2011) a short time later with their first cover versions - which were so well received that they decided to remain completely independent. Today, they are one of the biggest DIY and indie acts in the heavy rock segment. Starting the new decade with the tailwind of their "Chop Suey" cover (System Of A Down), among other things, they released a whole series of albums with cover songs in parallel to their latest albums "Vita Nova" (2022) and "Maleficent" (2023): Their "We've Got It Covered" series has actually already reached Volume 10! So that makes well over 100 tracks between Queen and Journey, Harry Styles, Nine Inch Nails and Britney Spears, Kate Bush and Linkin Park, from which they can put together this year's setlists...
