Your introduction to the world of letters

In this workshop, you will immerse yourself in the world of modern hand and brush lettering. In three hours, you will get a structured but relaxed introduction and learn how to design letters in various contemporary lettering styles - ideal for anyone with no previous experience.

To begin with, we will get an overview of materials and the basics of letter design. Using fineliners and brush pens, you will practise different lettering styles and learn how to use the brush pen correctly: Pressure, momentum and rhythm. Step by step, you will learn how to create letters, words and ultimately complete lettering from a few basic strokes.

All materials will be available to you during the course. You can try out different pens and find out what suits your style best.
