Hanna Fearns - Are You Alright?

Hanna Fearns is one of the quiet constants of the German indie scene - and this is precisely where her particular strength lies. The Cologne-based songwriter has been consistently developing her sound for decades: between folk, Americana, country and experimental pop, she has created an independent musical language that defies quick categorization.

At the center is her smoky, warm, deep voice - clear, sustained and full of presence. A voice that creates closeness and at the same time opens up vastness, somewhere between an intimate club atmosphere and a cinematic world of sound.

Hanna Fearns continues along this path with her third album Are You Alright? While many pop albums revolve around her own inner life, she turns her gaze outwards: to people, to vulnerability, to what happens between us. It is an album about empathy, insecurity and the search for support - and at the same time one that provides comfort without imposing itself.

Musically, big, immediate melodies meet country influences, drones, feedback and subtle shifts in sound. The warm sound of the baritone guitar combines with her dark voice to create a haunting, atmospheric soundscape.

With songs such as "Sugar", "It's Just Ink" or "Traveling", a finely balanced field of tension unfolds between fragility and strength, between melancholy and confidence - supported by a clear attitude: listen without judging.
