Fifteen-year-old Miley Cyrus reprises her title role, and the cast of the TV series also appears: Emily Osment, Jason Earles, Mitchel Musso, Moises Arias, and actor and country musician Billy Ray Cyrus, who plays Miley’s father in the movie as well as in real life. In the movie, for which Daniel Berendsen wrote the screenplay, Miley Stewart finds her massive success as Hannah Montana getting to her head. Her father advises her to visit her hometown in Tennessee to rediscover what the important things in life are. This teen comedy was directed by Peter Chelsom (“FUNNY BONES,” “SHALL WE DANCE?”).
