After leaving the Höhnern, Hannes Schöner has freed himself from all genre boundaries: In his music, he now integrates diverse stylistic devices from polyphonic vocals, pop melodies to tight rock rhythms. The singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer enjoys realizing his musical ideas "without scissors in his head", he said at the album launch in October
In addition to the 15 songs on his new album, Schöner also has selected tracks from his Höhner days in his luggage: "The Höhner songs are more about the quieter sounds." He also wants to respond musically and thematically to the AG Arsch huh and his love of the Beatles is not hidden either. He will be accompanied musically by pianist Addi Zehnpfennig and Klaus Mages (Trio Rio), among others. For Schöner, the concert in the Kulturkirche is like a "class reunion": "I was born in Bickendorf and lived in Longerich from the age of six. There will be lots of old friends in the audience, and I'm particularly looking forward to seeing them."
