HANS SIGL - The Christmas Show

Following last year’s huge success,Hans Siglis returning this Advent season with a completely new program for his Christmas show. In December 2026, the actor—best known for his role in the ZDF series “Der Bergdoktor”—will perform live in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Luxembourg with“Hans Sigl: The Christmas Show.” As part of the tour, he will make a stop at the Alte Kongresshalle in Munich on December 14, 2026.Hans Siglwill be accompanied musically by an extraordinary trio featuring piano, double bass, and percussion.

With a selection of cheerful and contemplative Christmas stories personally curated byHans Sigl, the actor invites the audience to an atmospheric evening. Humorous texts by Heinz Erhardt and Axel Hacke, classic Christmas literature by Theodor Fontane and Charles Dickens, and enchanting winter fairy tales from Scandinavia combine with musical interludes to create a varied program.

Between quiet moments and tongue-in-cheek humor, a rich, atmospheric production emerges that immerses the audience in the special spirit of the Christmas season. With his engaging and approachable manner,Hans Siglguides the audience through the evening and forges a direct and unique connection with them.   

The evening is framed by trusted friends: Michael Armann, who has been at the piano for decades whenever Sigl gives readings, improvises with double bassistMalte Tönissenand percussionistAlmuth Lustigon Christmas classics such as “Jingle Bells” and “Silent Night, Holy Night.” At some shows, the Frankfurt trio of Bastian Weinig, Max Jentzen, and Nicolas Hering swings through these world-famous melodies.
