In the organizer's words:
On August 22, 2026, the Hardt Open Air will return for the fourth time to the meadow by the Bismarck Tower in Wuppertal. From 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., the gratwanderung collective invites you to a lovingly organized day-long festival with free admission. The Hardt Open Air is a place to dance, let loose, and connect—open, diverse, and surrounded by nature.
The following artists will provide musical entertainment throughout the day:

There will be cold drinks, Tooth Gems, a variety of street food, booths, activities for kids, and other creative offerings.
