As part of the exhibition in the Bornholm I and II allotment gardens, the hbh-kollektiv invites you to a participatory sensory walk through space and time. Together we will explore the surroundings and the Berlin Wall Trail with all our senses, trace non-human inhabitants and exchange personal impressions and experiences. The exhibition in the gardens can also be visited on this occasion.

The hbh-kollektiv, consisting of Ghasal Falaki, Nicole Pearson & Nina Berfelde, will lead a walk in the allotment garden Bornholm II and on the Berlin Wall Trail to contextualize space & timelines together with the participants. Starting with a somatic practice, we will open up to the space and then explore it with all our senses. Residents of the Mauerweg, the history of violence in the immediate vicinity of the allotment garden site, as well as personal connections to eradication, violence and repair will be recognized and uncovered. Participants are asked to sense the place through its non-human inhabitants and then share and discuss what they have found in the group. This will be accompanied by short texts read and contributed by the hbh-kollektiv. Finally, the walk leads along the remains of the Berlin Wall back to the garden restaurant.
