Visit our welcome workshops in the pop-up space at Galerie DREI, Jülicher Str.14 in Cologne. You can expect intensive exercises for body and mind, group activities and individual consultations. Our members will introduce you to Somatic Practices and help you to find your mental strength. You can get to know our community and our vision at first hand. The Parasites Ensemble is a collective for theater and performance art that has been active in Cologne since 2019. We have made it our mission to create radically political and politically correct art. We offer art, we offer questions and problems, no answers, no solutions. We reject hierarchies, every decision is made by everyone. We develop the concept of the piece together. We involve the audience by creating atmospheres that they cannot escape. They should become part of the action because they are part of the world. We reject theater as a passive consumption of art. We don't just want to break through the fourth wall, we want to tear it down! The last two productions lieber wütend als depressed (2022) and BD$M - Bratwurst. Germany. $chnitzel. Power. (2024) were both nominated for the Cologne Theater Prize of the SK Stiftung Kultur.
