Heide-Aktionstag - Zu Gast im Wohnzimmer der Natur

In the organizer's words:

On the Panzerwiese, Langwieder Heide and Südliche Fröttmaninger Heide, the aim of the "Heidetag" is to draw attention to the special biodiversity and endangerment of the nature conservation areas. Find out about the wild animal and plant species living here and the dangers they are exposed to at several stations in the area, at the HeideHaus environmental station and during guided tours. The area managers, together with all participating stakeholders, are looking forward to a lively exchange with interested visitors to the Heath. The activities are all family-friendly.

Registration: not required.

Note: The Department for Climate and Environmental Protection (RKU) and the Landesbund für Vogel- und Naturschutz München (LBV) are organizing the first "Long Day of Urban Nature" on Sunday, 10 May. Under the motto "One day. One city. Endless things to experience!", interested visitors can discover Munich's nature like never before with over 100 program items - free of charge and without registration. The Heide Action Day makes a contribution to this.
