Forget for a moment how to draw "properly" - and discover how much fun it is to just get started.
The Fröttmaninger Heide is a magical place: between the grasses, flowers and seemingly inconspicuous details lies a world full of bizarre figures, quirky characters and surprising stories. You just have to find them - or invent them yourself.
Together with Munich-based illustrator Julian Opitz, you will go on a journey of discovery. With an inquisitive eye and pencil in your luggage, you will rummage around outside for shapes, structures and small absurdities of nature - and transform them directly into funny, idiosyncratic cartoons.
The following applies: perfection is overrated. It's all about ideas, the courage to try things out and sharpening your own eye. The instructor will show you how to turn an observation into a drawing - and a drawing into a short story - using simple tricks that can be put into practice immediately.
After exploring together, you will continue to work on your motifs in the HeideHaus. As a source of inspiration, you will find photos of interesting creatures that perhaps cannot be found outside or do not want to sit for long enough. Step by step, you will create pictures that are as individual as your own view of the world.
And because good ideas take time, the process continues:
At a second appointment (agreed together), everyone comes together again. Here, work is shown, further developed, refined - and taken to the next level with professional tips.
A day in nature. A pencil in your hand. And suddenly you will see the Fröttmaninger Heide with completely different eyes. Suitable for everyone - without any previous knowledge.
Target group: young people (14-17 years), adults
Note: The drawing materials are already included in the seminar price. Please bring your own lunch (there are no catering facilities on site). The event will take place in all weathers.
