In the organizer's words:
This Bavarian Christmas legend by Ludwig Thoma transposes the events of Christmas Eve to the harsh winter reality of a Bavarian village 100 years ago.
The play has been on the repertoire of the Kleines Spiel since 1949. Its simple language (caution: Bavarian) and the original marionettes lend the performance a touching and quiet character - and the hectic pre-Christmas period has a break for an hour.
