HEUKING Legal Session 1: Early-Stage Founder

As part of Startup Week Düsseldorf, we are once again inviting aspiring entrepreneurs, young businesspeople, and startup teams to our tried-and-true workshop format, “Legal Session 1.” The event offers a practical overview of the most important legal and tax issues that play a central role in founding and building a business. Experienced experts share up-to-date knowledge, provide concrete recommendations for action, and highlight typical pitfalls that founders should avoid.

Participants will gain valuable insights into topics such as choosing the right legal structure, labor law challenges associated with the use of artificial intelligence, establishing a legally compliant online presence, protecting ideas and intellectual property, as well as tax fundamentals and structuring options for startups. The focus is not only on theoretical fundamentals but, in particular, on practical examples and current developments.

The workshops are aimed at both individuals with initial startup ideas and existing startups looking to deepen their legal and tax knowledge. In addition to expert input, the event offers the opportunity to ask questions directly to the speakers and benefit from their many years of experience.

Participation is possible both in person on-site and digitally via MS Teams, allowing interested individuals to take part in the program flexibly.
