Hitch und Ich: Marnie
In the organizer's words:
"Hitch and Me—An Evening with Jens Wawrczeck" isa literary and musical tribute to one of the greatest filmmakers of the 20th century: Sir Alfred Hitchcock.
Jens Wawrczeck—the man who knew too much. At least, he knows so much about Alfred Hitchcock and his films that he can’t keep it to himself anymore!
Actor, singer, and voice actor Jens Wawrczeck achieved cult status—which endures to this day—with his role as Detective Peter Shaw in the radio drama series*Die drei ???*. With the reading series“Hitch and Me,”he is now fulfilling a dream. His great passion is Alfred Hitchcock and the literature “behind the film.” He must drag it into the light and unmask it: The Invisible Third—the novels and stories behind Hitchcock’s cinematic successes. Murderous, musical, multimedia. The program is accompanied by live music featuring different artists each time.
A suspiciously thrilling evening for Hitchcock fans, literature buffs, cinephiles, and anyone notorious for their love of good entertainment and a perfect reading performance! Welcome to“Hitch and Me”!
MARNIE
Marnie is a con artist who changes her identities as often as she changes her clothes. Until one day she steals from the wrong person—Mark—who exposes her and falls in love with her. He reimburses the stolen money and wants to marry Marnie. A high price to pay, because she doesn’t particularly like people. Especially men—and especially those who want to dominate her. When Mark’s business rival tracks her down, she is confronted with the secret that drives her actions…
