Kabarett unter'm Hakenkreuz: cabaret, parody, whispered humor and real satire from the Nazi era. Meyer gives a voice to authors who fought back against the Germanic-repressive madness of their time with grotesque humor and desperate wit. Writers and cabaret artists, many of whom had to pay for the fact that they did not want to be "master race" by being driven into exile, imprisoned in concentration camps and killed.
