HITS Tag der offenen Tür
In the organizer's words:
On Saturday, 11 July 2026, the Heidelberg Institute for Theoretical Studies (HITS) will once again open its doors at Schloss-Wolfsbrunnenweg 35. From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., visitors can expect a varied program with generally understandable lectures and presentations on the institute's research topics, botanical garden tours in German and English and numerous opportunities to join in and think.
As a highlight this year, HITS will be offering guided walks in German and English through the historic garden throughout the day.
How to get there: Shuttle bus from the S-Bahn station Altstadt (Karlstor) to HITS and back (free of charge). Free parking "Unter der Boschwiese". A selection of food and drinks will be offered.
