Home Stories Weekend: Filz-Buchhüllen-Workshop
In the organizer's words:
On September 4 and 5, the Freischwimmer are hosting a diverse program of workshops centered around the “open book” for stories from the neighborhood.
Alongside the construction workshop—where Krefeld residents will work together to build a life-size book sculpture—various other workshops will offer opportunities for creative engagement with the neighborhood, the city pool, and the people who are active here.
Mora, a Krefeld resident, has built up a network of craft enthusiasts in Krefeld with the re:collective. Through recycling, beading, embroidery, and other workshops, she not only ensures that participants are introduced to new creative techniques and take home something cool, but also fosters meaningful connections and exchanges between people.
As part of the Home Stories Days, Mora invites you to join her in designing felt book covers together.
