Home Stories Weekend: Zine-Workshop "Südstadt Foodie"
In the organizer's words:
On September 4 and 5, the Freischwimmer are hosting a diverse program of workshops centered around the “open book” for stories from the neighborhood.
Alongside the construction workshop—where Krefeld residents will work together to build a life-size book sculpture—various other workshops will offer creative ways to engage with the neighborhood, the city pool, and the people who are active here.
Krefeld-based illustrator Daria Katrinski invites you to celebrate the culinary highlights of the Südstadt in zines you design yourselves! What does the neighborhood taste like? Where’s the best spot for coffee? Have you discovered a favorite delicacy that no one else knows about yet? Then give it a spotlight in your own foodie zine. During this nearly three-hour workshop, you’ll work together to illustrate a small magazine featuring a food spot, dish, drink, or culinary product from Südstadt of your choice.
