Homecoming

In the organizer's words:

When was the last time you visited the permanent collection of the Wallraf-Richartz-Museum or the Museum Ludwig?

We all know the situation: when a new special exhibition opens, we flock to the museum with great enthusiasm, take time to look at the individual works of art and then talk about the exhibition with our friends. After all the impressions we have gathered, we rarely have time for the rest of the museum, even though the permanent collections have a lot to offer. We want to actively tackle this with our Homecoming series. That's why we meet every first Thursday of the month in one of the two buildings to explore the collections with you and engage in informal discussions.

You don't need any prior knowledge for our events, especially not for Homecoming. Your interest in gathering new impressions and strolling through the museum with a group of art enthusiasts is all you need. Homecoming is the safe space of the museum visit, where we from the project management team will be on hand to answer your questions and provide you with some insider knowledge.

Homecoming is free for members and non-members alike!

Where can you find us?

Our little get-together always starts in the museum foyer. You can't miss us, because you'll recognize us by our stand. Are you there earlier? Then come and join us, we look forward to chatting with you!

The event takes place on KölnTag, which means that all Cologne residents have Free admission on presentation of their ID.
