The world's greatest trio presents this development in their latest gourmet bouquet with an unusual mixture of jazz, rock, hip-hop and avant-garde elements. More concentrated than ever, captivating above all through one thing: class.

With a wink, the album unfolds piece by piece, characterized by numerous unexpected twists and turns. Light and yet with profound precision, it sends the listener on a journey - and leaves a lasting impression with ease.

Live, the Horst Hansen Trio impresses with its energetic presence. This attracts audiences at the Elbjazz Festival Hamburg, XJAZZ! Festival Berlin, the Düsseldorf Jazz Rally, Povalec Festival (CZ), Leverkusener Jazztage (Future Sounds), Jazzfestival Moers, Jazzfestival Freiburg, Kammgarn Int. Jazzfestival and, of course, the 2020 Japan tour, captivating not only die-hard jazz fans but also audiences far beyond genre boundaries.
Following the studio albums "Auf'm Teppich" (2017) and "Live in Japan" (2020), the new album "Sophisticated" will be released on March 14, 2025 and will be available on vinyl and CD as well as on the usual streaming platforms.
