The earth vibrates every 26 seconds. It is estimated that one person dies of ME/CFS every three days. Each person mines 18 kg of sand every day. In their new work, Malin Harff and Collaborators test survival in the endless storm - what happens when the crisis becomes the norm?

The mixed-ability team looks for multispecies solidarities in systems that are not designed for them and explores the interconnectedness of the climate crisis, Long Covid and ME/CFS, respiration and the extraction of the world's most sought-after resource: sand. The mixed-ability team links the depletion of the planet with the depletion of severely disabled bodies due to ME/CFS and Long Covid.

Over 400 million people worldwide suffer from this multi-systemic disease, which has been described as the medical crisis of our century. With Deep Time, soprano Alge and bass Sand, the band rehearses the pop song of the next million years. We turn the stage to the horizontal. What happens when resting becomes a necessity rather than an option?
