Experience sustainable mobility: Hannover University of Applied Sciences and Arts invites you to a bicycle festival

Hannover University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HsH), together with the state capital of Hannover, the Hannover region and the Soulstyle agency, is setting an example for sustainable mobility with a wide range of bicycle-related activities: on May 4, 2026, it is inviting visitors to the "HsH - Bicycle Festival" on the Linden campus. The event is part of the activities in the research project "DiNaMo - Digitalization for Sustainable Mobility". The aim is to show ways of transforming towards sustainable, climate-friendly mobility and to transfer this to other university locations as well as the city and region of Hanover.

There will be a varied program with practical offers around the bicycle: The Bürgerinitiative Umweltschutz e.V. offers a free bicycle check. Various initiatives and partners will also be presenting themselves, including "Lust auf Fahrrad", an offer from the city of Hanover to promote cycling, and "Bike Citizens", the official cycling app of the Hanover region. The nationwide "City Cycling" campaign will also be represented on site.

The program is complemented by a bicycle exchange for students and staff, musical contributions on a stage and an ice cream van from the Studierendenwerk.
