Theater project with young people
recommended for ages 14 and up

Wars and crises are on everyone's lips. And the calls are getting louder and louder: Germany must arm itself, defend its borders and protect its homeland. Our country should become war-ready again. The reawakened war machine in Germany will use any means necessary and every recruit is welcome. Sucks, doesn't it?

Since September 2025, the ICH.KRIEG.DIE.KRISE. project has been exploring the mechanisms and forms of war propaganda, the fairy tales of the need to be ready for war and the emerging militarization in Germany. The young people
participants in the project ask critical questions in the play, shed light on power imbalances and test resistance - with all its consequences.

Sensitive content / content notes: The production deals with topics such as war, physical, psychological and sexual violence in verbal form. At some moments, gunshots and loud noises are used.
