IDER are London-based alt-pop duo Megan Markwick and Lily Somerville, known for their emotional, raw songwriting and genre-bending sound. Hailed as 'pop auteurs' and 'voices of a generation', they first came to prominence with their critically acclaimed debut album Emotional Education, which explored themes of anxiety, identity and the human condition with bold honesty. In 2021, they returned with Shame - a deeply personal, self-produced and self-released album that marked a new chapter of creative independence. Now signed to Nettwerk, IDER are set for their biggest era yet. 2025 saw the release of Late To The World - their most confident and sonically expansive work to date - accompanied by a sold-out UK and European tour, reconnecting the band with their loyal fanbase and introducing their fearless, emotionally charged alt-pop to a new audience.
