This first workshop forms the foundation of the workshop series: you will learn methods with which you can improve your practicing in a targeted, structured and measurable way.

We look not only at technique and routine, but also at concentration, attention and mental preparation - aspects that have the greatest influence on progress and musical development.

"Effective practicing" is the ideal place to start because it lays the foundations on which the other workshops will build. Those who internalize these principles will benefit significantly more from the following modules on reading music, improvisation and freedom from stage fright. The workshop series is designed in such a way that each workshop is valuable in its own right, but participation in all four sessions releases synergies that lead to

lasting improvement, confidence on the instrument and greater freedom in musical expression.
