INSPIRE! Female Business Brunch

The INSPIRE! Female Business Brunch is once again part of Startup Week, and NRW.BANK and the Düsseldorf Economic Development Agency cordially invite you to the fourth edition of the event.

This year, the focus is on female founders and their personal startup stories. Under the title “Female Founder Stories – Between Vision and Reality,” the event offers candid insights into the day-to-day reality of starting a business: What is it really like to build a company? What challenges and setbacks are part of the process? And what helps you keep going, even during difficult times?

Female founders will speak openly about their journeys: from the initial idea through defining turning points to doubts, hurdles, and personal lessons learned. Instead of perfect success stories, participants can expect authentic experiences that inspire, encourage, and provide valuable insights for their own paths.

Together with representatives from funding organizations, networks, and support services, the female founders will then discuss the conditions women need to start a business. What role do networks play? What funding opportunities are available? What is still missing for female founders today? And how can more women be encouraged to take the leap into self-employment?

At the Female Business Brunch, participants also have the opportunity to speak directly with representatives from funding institutions, networks, and support organizations, ask questions, and learn about the services they offer. During the networking session with food and drinks, there will be plenty of time to make new connections, share experiences, and become part of a strong network.

The event is aimed at female founders, female entrepreneurs, women-led startups, and women from companies who are interested in startup culture, innovation, and entrepreneurship. It’s an event for anyone who wants to be inspired by authentic stories from female founders, gain valuable insights, and learn about the ecosystem for women-led startups.
