In the organizer's words:

"Insularities" is the new album by Sicilian songwriter Fabrizio Cammarata, conceived as a musical archipelago of voices, memories and images. At the heart of the album is the question of identity as something mobile and multifaceted - embodied by the inner figures of father, mother and child.

Musically, the album combines folk, ambient electronics and narrative songwriting, carried by Cammarata's multilingual voice (English, Italian, Sicilian, Spanish, Portuguese). Songs such as "Asanta" (a memory of the mother and Sicilian rituals), "Icarus" (the father between departure and fear), "Come What May" (the inner child) and "Água e Sal" (duet with Casadilego) trace a journey through inner landscapes and cultural interstices.

Towards the end, the music becomes more minimalist and emotionally dense: "Ricordare Inventando" is like a hypnotic lullaby, "The Woman In Me" explores Cammarata's feminine side with choir and strings, and "The End Of Me Can Be Your Start" closes the album as an intimate, almost whispered farewell message - combined with a gesture of thanks and dedicated to the deceased friend and musician Fabio Parrinello (Black Eyed Dog).
